Spiced Vanilla Chai No. 38 takes one of our most popular classic black teas, Mt. Hood Vanilla, and adds a bit of spice to the mix. Clove and cinnamon bolster this already buttery smooth, vanilla-scented black tea blend, creating a delicious holiday-like perfume in the air.
Spiced Vanilla Chai No. 38 tastes heavily of vanilla (perhaps unsurprisingly) and combines the rich, spicy flavor of cinnamon with the warm, nutty, slightly sweet notes of clove interspersed. While it’s excellent hot with cream (or a non-dairy alternative) and sugar, Spiced Vanilla Chai No. 38 is an excellent option for iced tea on hot days.

This tea does not uphold its name very well, even though it is spiced, the spice is very mild, and only leaves a tinge of astringency when you sip it. The vanilla smell is stronger than its taste. However, it does taste pretty nice when I drink it even when I only steep it with water and didn't use milk or sugar.
